Recognizing the need for a sustained, high-quality academic and industry forum, it officially evolved into UCC. Since those early days, the conference has tracked and shaped the incredible transformation of utility computing—from a theoretical, emerging concept into the foundational backbone of modern global digital infrastructure.

The conference has spanned the globe, leaving its mark on major cities across Asia, Australia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Our 2026 edition marks an exciting new chapter in our history, bringing the UCC community to South America for the very first time, proudly hosted in Florianópolis, Brazil.
