UCC and Workshops Camera-ready Guidelines

The instructions below are essential to ensure that you comply with IEEE’s publication requirements, so that your paper can be included in the conference proceedings and published and indexed by IEEE Xplore. Accepted and registered papers in UCC 2026 and its workshops will appear in the conference program.

In order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings and submitted to appear in IEEE Xplore, at least one of the authors must register at the full conference rate and present the paper.

After you receive the acceptance email, please carefully review the reviewers’ feedback and edit your paper accordingly. The camera-ready deadline is October 26, 2026.

Length

  • Regular papers: up to 10 pages
  • Short papers: up to 4 pages
  • Poster papers: up to 2 pages
  • Workshop papers: up to 6 pages

All page limits include figures, tables, and references, and must follow the IEEE conference format with doubleUC-column pages. Up to two extra pages can be purchased for an additional fee.

All final camera-ready manuscripts must be generated using the IEEE PDF eXpress tool. To generate the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper, follow these steps:

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site: https://ieee-pdf-express.org

First-time users should:

  • Select Create account: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/signup
  • Enter 71512X as the Conference ID
  • Enter your email address and a password
  • Continue to enter information as prompted. An online confirmation will be displayed, and a confirmation email will be sent verifying your account setup.

Once you are logged in:

  • Click “Create New Title”, enter your paper title, and upload the source file containing your paper for conversion
  • Receive by email the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper for download. Please do not change the PDF file name you receive.
  • If your paper conversion is declined, the system will provide you with the error log. Fix the errors and repeat the same process.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the steps above and enter the same password used for previous conferences. Please verify that your contact information is valid.

An IEEE electronic copyright form (eCF) is required for each accepted paper. The eCF is completed on the IEEE website through EasyChair’s IEEE integration, and only one author needs to sign it on behalf of all authors. To do so, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to EasyChair;
  • Click on “Alerts” in the main menu;
  • Click on “IEEE copyright agreement for paper ” and complete the form on the IEEE website.

If there is no such link under your Alerts menu tab, then one of the authors has already signed the agreement on behalf of all authors.

The IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF generated by IEEE PDF eXpress must be uploaded to EasyChair by the camera-ready deadline. To do so, log in to EasyChair and go to the “Final Version” or “Proceedings version” link in the paper information page and upload your camera-ready using the “Upload new version” link.

For your paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one author must be registered by October 26, 2026. Each registration covers one paper. Registration details will be available in the “Registration” menu in the UCC website
